Places to Shop that I Haven’t Tried (YET)

If you were to look at my phone notes and camera roll you would see all of my inspiration and take a peek into how my mind works. I try to keep it as organized as possible but it does usually look like a jumbled mess. I was going through my notes and thought I would share a few of the places that I have really been wanting to purchase from. I’ve stumbled upon a few of these places on Instagram or through different social media platforms. I wanted to be sure to mention I HAVE NOT purchased from these places before so I cannot tell any pros or cons, only that I like what I see for face value. As always, to directly shop the item click on the picture.

Leave me a comment and let me know which is your favorite

CIDER : I love the fun, colorful vibe! It reminds me of Tik Tok style! The pieces are also really inexpensive for how adorable they are.

Lisa Says Gah : This one reminds me of a vintage, boho style almost. I really love this one and I have been wanting to shop but it can be a bit pricey which is the only reason I am thinking over my purchase carefully~

Ruve : The cool neutrals with cut-outs and different details are so my style! I will probably watch a few youtube reviews before I buy but I am loving the products. The first images almost gives me off-white vibes.

Urban Gap : These pieces are SO trendy I almost placed an order while writing this post. Also, they had me at ‘For Girls by Girls’

Static Nails : This one is for all the beauty gurus out there. I know nail art has really been trending and since we should all be super-mindful about the places we go I thought I would also mention this website I found that has super fun press ons. Again, I’ve yet to try but I am eager too

What’s in my Shopping Cart

Are you about to impluse buy the items below? Maybe. I know I did, so I thought I’d share the items in my shopping cart so I wouldn’t be all alone. As always, click on the picture for a direct link to the shopping page.

What’s in your shopping cart?

As the weather gets cooler, of course, pants are becoming a must. I realized I don’t really own many pairs of trousers, my pants are mostly just denim jeans, so I bought the following pants from Forever 21 to fill in the spaces in my wardrobe.. or should I say the little space that is left in my closet.

Shackets are all the rage right now, and for good reason. Such a good look for when its cooler in the mornings/evenings and hotter during the day. Cool and cozy.

I cannot stop eyeing Steve Madden’s latest collection! The boots have me swooning, from the Gucci dupes to the essential neutrals, they are all a must.

How to Wear a Sweater Vest

So I bought the infamous H&M sweater vest that has been all over Instagram because I really liked it. The small was sold out, but since I like my Fall/Winter tops a bit slouchy I was okay with ordering a medium. I am so glad I did because I it was the perfect amount of fabric so it wasn’t fitted and because I am short I was able to style it almost as a dress. It did take a while to come in though so I felt like I was late on the trend when posting the photos, but I thought I’d share anyway.

I took a poll on my Instagram stories regarding if I should keep it or return it, and the majority said I should keep it so I did. It is actually very comfortable and I could wear the outfit all day. I also wanted to show a few other ways that you can style a sweater vest (via Pinterest).

What’s your favorite piece to wear for Fall?

LikeToKnow.It Book Tour

There are so many opportunities that have presented itself since I have been in Los Angeles. Being able to attend one of the stops on the LikeToKnow.it book tour was definitely one of them. Listening to the advice from these bloggers was truly inspirational. I was able to have a real conversation with these genuine ladies who willingly shared their stories and tips to be successful.

Let me tell you, I try to attend as many blogging events as I can. Lots of the information I learn is usually for first-time bloggers. The tips and tricks shared are usually things that I practice myself or have heard at least once. At this event, that was not the case. I really learned so much about being a blogger in this oversaturated field. I was told things I had not known before and a few tricks I did not know. I actually even shared a few of my own as well!

I love events like this because they are networking opportunities. I was able to introduce myself to these amazing influencers and meet with smaller scale influencers as well.

Let’s talk about the book. The whole reason for the tour! The LikeToKnow.it book is full of the stories and interviews of huge influencers who are associated with LikeToKnow.it. Influencers who successfully provide fashion finds, style advice and lifestyle tips to others. This is what I hope to one day be. I did not know I wanted it until recently if I am being completely honest. But attending events like this remind me it is attainable. That the hustle is worth it. This book reminds me to start somewhere. That to be something you start at step one and push and pray until you get there. I am so young for this and there is so much more room to grow and more to learn. But trust me I am definitely doing this now.

It was a joy to sit in at this panel. While I wish I could attend and introduce myself to more of these amazing ladies, I am more than happy to settle for viewing their Instagram story for the tour! I hope to one day even work for LikeToKnow.it! Now that would be a full circle for me!
