LikeToKnow.It Book Tour

There are so many opportunities that have presented itself since I have been in Los Angeles. Being able to attend one of the stops on the LikeToKnow.it book tour was definitely one of them. Listening to the advice from these bloggers was truly inspirational. I was able to have a real conversation with these genuine ladies who willingly shared their stories and tips to be successful.

Let me tell you, I try to attend as many blogging events as I can. Lots of the information I learn is usually for first-time bloggers. The tips and tricks shared are usually things that I practice myself or have heard at least once. At this event, that was not the case. I really learned so much about being a blogger in this oversaturated field. I was told things I had not known before and a few tricks I did not know. I actually even shared a few of my own as well!

I love events like this because they are networking opportunities. I was able to introduce myself to these amazing influencers and meet with smaller scale influencers as well.

Let’s talk about the book. The whole reason for the tour! The LikeToKnow.it book is full of the stories and interviews of huge influencers who are associated with LikeToKnow.it. Influencers who successfully provide fashion finds, style advice and lifestyle tips to others. This is what I hope to one day be. I did not know I wanted it until recently if I am being completely honest. But attending events like this remind me it is attainable. That the hustle is worth it. This book reminds me to start somewhere. That to be something you start at step one and push and pray until you get there. I am so young for this and there is so much more room to grow and more to learn. But trust me I am definitely doing this now.

It was a joy to sit in at this panel. While I wish I could attend and introduce myself to more of these amazing ladies, I am more than happy to settle for viewing their Instagram story for the tour! I hope to one day even work for LikeToKnow.it! Now that would be a full circle for me!
