Copying someone is the sincerest form of flattery. While I do believe this I actually hate when people copy me. I copy people all the time though! Very hypocritical for sure! But I get my best inspiration from others. I am working on allowing myself to be flattered of course.
When I find something I really like (and it’s mostly clothing inspiration) I always screenshot it or save it to my notes. I am HUGE when it comes to notes and describing things for me to remember.
I actually got inspiration for this outfit from multiple bloggers on my Instagram feed! I loved the look of the shirt because I saw it everywhere! I just had to have it for myself because it answered the three questions from my last blog post. I also really like playing up a long sleeve with shorts and these shoes just went so perfectly I had to add them.
Some of my tips:
- Tell someone you really like it and even that you want to recreate the idea behind it
- Make it your own and put a personal twist on it
- Give them credit for being your inspiration
Thank you again to Lulu’s for gifting me with this amazing top! I have honestly been wearing it non-stop and this belt bag is to DIE for. My shoes were also gifted from ShoeDazzle and I am head over heels for the thigh-high snake print because I cannot resist a good thigh-high!
What’s your favorite type of shoe?
