Grand Canyon + Road Trip Must Haves

Have you ever been to the Grand Canyon? I can now say I have! While it was a quick stop on my detour home to Texas, it was seriously amazing! Crazy how big the world really is when you put it into perspective!

I came home for a few weeks between my leases in LA, which was a perfect time for a break to see my family and friends! I loved being home but I also loved the trips there and back! I got to shoot a few different places on my road trips which made it even more fun! I think I have become a pro at road tripping!

Also I should just point out I was the only one dressed as I was and I stuck out like crazy! Everyone was in hiking gear and I looked like I so did not belong! Definitely made me think about writing a post about being confident when you absolutely do not feel it! What do you think?

Some road trip essentials

Car Charger : This came in handy like crazy! I never brought my charger into the hotels we stayed at so I never left it behind. I never had to bring it in though because I would just charge it on the way!

Snacks : Okay duh! But snacks like sunflower seeds and gum help you stay up longer when you’re tired since you have to work on eating them, or blowing bubbles. Also the healthier the better because you are just sitting there so do not over eat!

Offline Listening : Wifi was constantly going in and out! Pre-download podcasts and if you have premium music channels definitely use those!

Books/Magazines : Goes with the wifi going in and out! Read to whoever is driving or just use it to make the time go by faster.

Accessible Bag : I put only clothes in here that I would wear during the road trip, a blanket, charger, books and a few toiletries in my bag next to me so I would take that into the hotel. Everything else sat in the trunk the whole time!
