Western Vibes

As a lover of statement pieces, Nasty Gal is one of my go-to places to shop. When I saw this cow printed bikini I knew I had to have it! I am obsessed with the western feel of the swimsuit and knew I had to pair it with my fringe boots. While these rocks aren’t exactly what I had in mind for the background, it worked out. I was traveling from Texas to California and trying to shoot along the way so you can imagine how that turned out when I barely know where everything is packed!

I am currently obsessing over the western trend and I cannot get over how easy it comes to me, probably because I am from Texas. By easy I mean that I do not feel overdressed or in a costume, but in something as basic as a band tee and denim shorts. I think the “trend of the western vibe will fade, but in the south, this is just a genre of clothing we like to wear on a Saturday night to go dancing in!

How do we feel about the swimsuit and boots situation? I have already done a similar look for Coachella weekend but I wanted to keep with the country theme and try it again. I think it was a fun outfit to wear and style and I wish I had been able to have had access to my whole closet and accessories!
