What I learned from Festival Season

This past weekend was one crazy weekend! Since it was my first brush with Coachella I was so glad I was able to attend with Gina since she has gone the past four years. While there are so many things to learn still, of course, I wanted to just state a few of the things that stuck out to me the most!

Time : I would recommend not having a strict schedule! Everything is so far apart and walking can take a long time as well! Go with the flow, and for things you really want to be at, plan ahead!

Plan your looks ahead of time : You do not want to worry about what you will be looking like when you are there, you just want to get to the fun! Try on your looks before you leave and write down what accessories go with each look so that you can just change and go!

Bring a jacket for the night time : If you plan to be at Coachella all day into the night you will want a jacket! The winds can get pretty chilly especially if you are having to walk back to your car or Uber

Uber : This one kind of goes with the time one. Ubers can be hard to locate at times and the reception was spotty at one point so give yourself some extra time for this one!

Go with a group : I had so much fun with Gina, and I am so glad it was us two! Most people were in groups and that just seemed like so much fun to me too! All I would say with this one though is to make sure you stick with a person, it can get pretty crazy and confusing there if it’s your first time like me!

This look was the most Coachella look I had! I loved it and wore it all day this day! I had a braid in my hair with gold rings, a fringe skirt, and gold jewelry and I loved it! I got so many compliments on this look as well, and I was able to stay in it without feeling uncomfortable since it was considerably comfy!

Top : 12th Tribe // Skirt : Forever 21 // Shoes : (similar) // Fanny Pack : Quay Australia
