Vest + Thigh Highs

I cannot believe Christmas is already over! It has such a huge build up and the day after I am always wondering how it went by so fast! Unfortunately I was sick this Christmas and it took a lot for me to get up and ready to visit with everyone. Regardless, it was a fun year getting to open presents with everyone and seeing some family. Now I cannot wait for New Years and to show off my NYE look!

I was lucky enough to receive almost everything off of my wish list which included this vest! (See the items still up on my wish list tab) I adore the big plaid print and the black and white are just really great classic colors for the cooler season. I love how it folds over in the front and I knew it would be a great excuse to bring out my thigh highs.

I had a few different outfit ideas for this vest, and I struggled with whether I should wear this vest or one of the others I just received this year. I think I am going to make a new post on styling the various types of vests and what they look best with. For example, this vest flares out in an A-line shape at the bottom which  gives off the illusion of some curves. I could definitely use that with this outfit especially since the dress alone clings so tightly to me.
