As I wrote in a recent post, I’ve been able to find friends in LA through bloggers that I follow. I got lucky that I have something in common with these amazing girls! While I am slowly gaining friends here, I finally had a girls night last week with four LA bloggers and let me tell you, I did not realize how much I needed it! It prompted me to write this post and explain just how important it is for everyone. Sometimes you just need a fun night to just talk and hang out with a group of friends.
While I am all for one-on-ones to really bond with someone, I think it is equally important to hang out as a group! I actually was supposed to hang out with two girls and then two more tagged along and even though we all weren’t super close, it was so much fun!
Being so far from my group of friends and family I really felt the difference between being able to be with a group, vs. when I hang out with one new friend. I think even girls who are home and do not make time to hang out with a group of girls can still benefit from remembering how important a girls night is!
I actually came straight from work so I wore my button-up untucked on one side and my matching heels. Button-ups are perfect for day or night depending on how you wear them! I love a structured top verses a loose flowy one because I feel like you can play with it even more.
Humans are creatures that thrive in tribes. So finding yours is important. No matter if that be a family or friend group, it is important to have different people to rely on. Guy or girls, we learn from each other and getting different opinions on a topic or venting or just having fun with multiple personalities is what is important.
Your outfit is sooo cute! I love the blouse and this post topic is great because I am actually having a girl’s night out this weekend 🙂
