Where I Get My Trendy Pieces

This was actually a requested blog post which surprised me so I have to give the people what they want! I talk a lot about trends I feel. I have gone on and on in blog posts about trends so I will try not to bore you with those details! (If you do want some of the gushy details, go to this blog post). One thing that usually goes hand in hand with trends tends to be fast fashion. I actually am not really a fan of fast fashion for several reasons. 1. It is usually not sustainable or good for our environment which is a huge no! 2. What comes in fast tends to leave fast and 3. The trendy pieces can tend to be cheaply made if it is not a designer brand. I do think though that if you like that piece and believe you will like it, especially if the trend dies out, then go for it! Style is about what you like and what you feel comfortable in! You do you, boo boo!

So usually when I get pieces that are more in style, I usually opt for a cheaper price unless I know it is something I will be wearing long term. For this, I usually go to Forever 21 or search Asos and skim over Pretty Little Thing. I also do a lot of outfit searching on Instagram! I know influencers can get annoying and tag all of the places they shop from, but really it is cool to know! I genuinely like to see what else a store has to offer if they tagged a piece that I liked! I usually will go to that store’s page and search for the item as well as similar pieces they may have!

Also, online shopping is a huge blessing! I tend to just google the piece that I am looking for and not only does it usually give you the piece you are looking for, the shopping section usually gives alternatives that are cheaper and pricier so you can pick your poison. For this outfit, I actually copied an influencer I found on Instagram. I fell in love with it and it’s definitely a super trendy outfit!
