Get ready for a sappy, inspirational post… and if that’s not your thing definitely just look at the cool shots and leave a comment anyway!

I never really understood just how much I believed in myself until I went on my study abroad and then over to LA right after. I think college definitely prepared me for this as I was not with my family as much and that was a huge change. But coming over to LA and barely knowing anyone was huge, and going across the country for two weeks with strangers was pretty huge too. Both were super fun and have been life changing.
I guess this post is really about saying to step out of your comfort zone and make things happen. Apply to Harvard, apply to the unreachable job, move somewhere new just because you can. Take the chance to do something new and good because you never know what may come out of it. Do your best and don’t just settle because in the end you will regret what you didn’t do.
For me, my next step is growing my blog and actually getting even more collaborations. I am excited to say that I am actually going to be going for it and exploring even more what I can do with this little hobby I have kept up with for so long.

Such a great post and so true, it’s important to take risks and go forth with your dreams or what you want to pursue, especially when you are young and don’t have as much to lose. I am definitely working on this as well and stepping out of my comfort zone and trying new things. You are amazing and will definitely get collabs and more paid blogger stuff soon! Hang in there! xoxo, Christine

I moved cross-country 6 years ago and it’s probably one of the best things I’ve ever done. I think it’s so important to push yourself and frequently encourage my friends and family to reach for “growth goals.”

Your post was so good and I totally agree. When I studied abroad I felt so strong and confident in myself. I didn’t even know how independent I could be. Keep reaching for the stars and following your dreams!
