I recently had the idea to recreate a popular look I have seen on the Instagram bloggers I follow. It is a very simple look and I am going to link some look alike items as well as the originals below. I really had no idea for this post when I ordered these items but seeing them together I could not resist! It just goes to show how easy it really is to recreate your favorite looks! I think I am going to start to recreate more fun looks and celebrity look-a-like items to find for cheaper. Let me know what you think in the comments below!
This necklace, bralette, and thermal were a big trend and when I realized I have all of the pieces I wanted to recreate the look. The picture by house of sequins is the most popular and I really wanted to add my Tory Burch belt, but my top would cover it up.
The original necklace is from Bauble Bar on the Nordstrom site but it is sold out. I found a Madewell one for $34 and the one I bought is actually from Forever 21 and was only $7!
On to the bralette. While the popular one is from Free People for $38, you can use any bralette with a stringy strap or a pretty frill. Here’s a pretty one from Lulu’s and another from Aerie.
Lastly, the top I bought was the one from Dainty Hooligan. I found a similar one from Urban Outfitters that you can use to recreate your look! Honestly I would first go to Walmart if you really do not want to spend a lot and I would try to find a cheaper one there as well.
