Sweater Season

Forever wishing that it got just a little bit colder here in Texas! I almost envy watching other bloggers be able to bundle up in their layers of coats and cardigans just to go out for some coffee. While it does get a bit chilly, it never even snows which is a complete bummer! Sitting by a fire is definitely one of my favorite things to do during the holiday season.

Sweaters are always my go-to for the cooler seasons because they are easy to throw on. A sweater with a great material can dress up any outfit, and paired with the right skirt can turn a daytime look into a night out outfit. I paired this sweater with white jeans (yes I know it is after labor day!) and tied the front even though it is a high low sweater to give me more shape. I wore it to a Christmas lighting and I kept with the brown and wore my favorite brown booties.

Even though I cannot buy many thick coats or jackets, a sweater is always my go-to. Here are a few sweaters on my list of favorites, all under $45!

  10. OBSESSED with that sweater you’re wearing! Also- not sure where in TX you are but here in Houston we’ve gotten your wish for colder weather! It’s be so nice to bust out the heavier sweaters and boots!
