Summer, Sand, and Sunnies. Those are the first three things I think of when I think of Summer. Nothing but water to cool you off, and lots of bright outfits and colors. My must-have (besides my waterproof mascara of course!) are sunglasses. The way they just add an extra something to an outfit or really just can take you from a 5 to a 10 is perfect!
The place I recommend for this season’s sunnies? Warby Parker. They sell both sunglasses as well as prescription eyewear for both men and women; they also introduced six new silhouettes and five new hues for their collection. Their looks are very classic and vintage looking, and there is a little something for everyone’s taste. Here are a few of my hand-picked favorites.
From scratch resistant lenses, to flash reflective lenses, there are ton’s of great styles for the summer. I would pair the Hattie with a bright floral or neon swimsuit. The Topper 16 or Lowry I picture with a cropped tank top and maxi skirt or something along those lines. I am a sucker for anything in a light pink I’m not going to lie so the Tilley and Roland are perfect to me!
Last thing I wanted to mention and one of the huge reasons that I agreed to do this post was because for every pair of glasses sold, Warby Parker distributes glasses back to those in need of eyewear. They train men and women in developing countries to conduct basic eye exams and sell frames for cheap. That kind of giving back is what it is all about.
