Styling A Graphic Tee

I have seen graphic tees all over my Instagram recently and I just had to hop on that bandwagon! I found a similar Andy Warhol tee at the Melrose Trading post, perfectly worn in and with the perfect amount of pink.. but there was one problem.. it was over $100. I was not willing to pay for a tee that I would not be wearing super often and I knew I could make myself. So I emailed this picture to my mom and had her print it on transfer paper and she ironed it on to a shirt from the store. Much cheaper and same Andy Warhol painted top of my own!

If that was not enough of a task, I actually edited this picture from the internet to add more pink and purples to match my feed! IT’S ALL IN THE DETAILS. When I was done I had to pair it with these purple Steve Madden heels and I fell in love with this look! Something so different and so cool!

I recently took a poll on my Instagram story asking which shorts I should buy and it was between these and plain black lace-up shorts (imagine these without the stars). The plain black ones actually won but my heart was already set on these! I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and I love wearing these just for fun.

My Tips for Styling a Graphic Tee

Keep a color scheme! Add a simple white tee with red lettering and a bright red lip for a pop of color!

A graphic tee tucked into comfy fitting shorts or jeans are a great staple

Cuff your sleeves on your graphic tee for a cool look… I do this a lot actually and iron the cuff so it stays

Find one with a cool saying! The image does not have to take up all of your shirt for it to count

Size up and wear your tee with a comfy cardigan and leggings for a cozier look!

Graphic tees are one of the new staple pieces, get two or three and hang on to them until the trend dies out because this one will definitely be back!
