Photo Shoot

Like I said in my La La Land post, there are so many opportunities that come with living in Los Angeles. I am definitely thinking about moving to Austin to try to keep living in a bigger city that will have more things to do to keep up with my blogging. One of these opportunities has been being able to participate in free photo shoot meetups. I was kind of worried at first but you get to know the people and it is a fun experience!

This photo shoot was not like the last one, it was in a studio that had different rooms and setups! I wish I had been able to see what the rooms looked like before I went because then I could have thought out more looks! Nonetheless, I was excited to go and shoot this dress! I honestly hadn’t shot in a while and I hadn’t done full hair and makeup in a while either! I almost did not want to go because of traffic and I was already tired after work, but after going and especially after working with these photographers I was glad I went!

So this dress is actually my boss’s dress! When she had a photoshoot I planned for her to wear this outfit (except with black boots) and we never got to it. I found it at a consignment store here in Los Angeles and I had the idea to cut it along the sides so it flowed and could show the black shorts underneath. While I wish I had my boots here with me, they are not black anyway, and since she didn’t shoot it I wanted to really bad. Thankfully she allowed me to borrow it and I totally fell in love with how these pictures turned out!
